LCSB - LUXEMBOURG CENTER FOR SYSTEMS BIOMEDICINE

The Bioincubator aims at recruiting and supporting innovative, young companies in the field of health technologies. It is the only start-up incubator in Luxembourg to offer equipped lab space (shared facilities).

The Bioincubator project is currently run by a consortium composed of the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) and Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) with the support of Technoport SA.

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine was founded in 2009 as one of the first interdisciplinary research centres of the University of Luxembourg. Our staff members combine their expertise in a broad spectrum of disciplines: from computational biology to clinical and experimental neuroscience to study the brain and its diseases. We work together with scientific partners worldwide and carry out collaborative projects with hospitals and research-oriented companies. We focus our research efforts on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.
