The Ministry of the Economy is in charge of the country's economic policy, thus making strategic choices and implementing the instruments necessary for the dynamism and sustainable development of the national economy, in line with its remit.
The remit of the Ministry of the Economy cover a wide range of subjects related to the economic development and the economic environment of the country and are defined in the the Government regulation.
In line with these attributions, the Ministry of the Economy is composed of several general directorates whose structure is included in its organisation chart. The different attributions provide a framework for the activities of the Ministry of the Economy, as well as a range of services and procedures, which are detailed in the activities section.
