Saarland is a traditional industrial centre and has today the highest industrial density in Germany. Both the Saarland and the Luxembourg economies are undergoing a transformation process focusing on decarbonisation and digitalisation. Saarland companies benefit from their proximity to globally recognised cutting-edge research in the IT sector and offer innovative solutions for a wide range of industries.

This mission will focus on sustainable and efficient energy use in the areas of digital technologies, cybersecurity, manufacturing as well as automotive (hydrogen mobility) and sustainable construction (parallel programme to be announced).
