MINISTERIUM FÜR WIRTSCHAFT, INNOVATION, DIGITALES UND ENERGIE SAARLAND

In addition to the economic sector, the Saarland Ministry of Economic Affairs is also responsible for the sectors of innovation, digitalization and energy. The central task is to promote the regional economy and SME’s and thereby further developing Saarland as a business location. Innovation policy and digitalization in administration and business are also managed by the ministry in order to drive structural change. The Ministry of Economic Affairs covers furthermore the coal and steel industry sector as well as increasingly important topics such as climate change and energy policy.
