CDEC was created in 2008 by the Groupement des entrepreneurs and the Fédération des entreprises de Construction et de génie civil. The aim of this non-profit association (asbl) is to steer an integrated strategy for the sector, with a view to helping all players to achieve sustainable competitiveness.
