SPACE R/SNT-UNIVERSITY OF LUXEMBOURG

The Space Robotics Research Group (SpaceR), led by Prof. Miguel Angel Olivares-Mendez, is dedicated to enhancing the autonomy of robots planetary and orbital robotics, with a particular focus on exploration, multi-robot collaboration, human interaction, manipulation, AI-based control, and digital twins. To improve robot autonomy in space, the SpaceR team is developing AI-enhanced algorithms for various applications such as in-space operations, active and passive space debris removal, assembly and manufacturing, lunar exploration and resource collection, multi-robot collaboration, immersive teleoperation, and anomaly/failure detection, identification, and prediction.
